Direct-ED are super excited to introduce a brand new product that will be fantastic for children learning how to write. The range is called Story Handwriting and will come in a number of themes, the first being Superheroes! Not enticed enough? Here is the blurb:
There once was a young child
Whose writing was awfully wild.
Their teacher would dread,
As over and over they read,
But that just made them more riled.
The work they created
Made them very elated.
But the teacher confused
And totally bemused,
Gave a mark that really frustrated.
The moral of this tale,
As I’d rather you not fail,
Is to take care and attention,
And not raise any tension,
To produce writing we hail.
The product will be unveiled at The Education Show 2017 and will be on sale at the stand. Director Joe Mugan said “we are really proud of this product, in fact it may be our finest book yet. Our former Marvel and DC comic artist, Tim Perkins, has excelled himself and we know that it will be a real hit with schools.”
The book contains a dozen double spread pages with handwriting lines and a fantastic drawing by a former Marvel and DC comic artist which the child uses to create their own story. It is designed to give the children something to concentrate on whilst learning to write, making handwriting more fun.
The book will go on sale at the show and then will be sold online from the 20th March 2017. Direct-ED plan to produce a number of themes with a mixed subject one following fairly soon after the Superheroes book.
Look out for the new book and the Direct-ED team at stand M60 from the 16th – 18th March.
