Direct-ED have pleased to announce that they have been shortlisted for the Education Resource Awards 2017 on the 17th March in Birmingham during The Education Show.
The company has worked tirelessly all year to make sure that customer satisfaction is their top priority and provide a service and product that keeps schools coming back to them year after year. This work has been recognised by the organisers of the award sponsored by BESA.
Direct-ED has been shortlisted in the category of General Classroom Resource for its product, Personalised Exercise Book. A product the company is very proud of and feels is a real strength for them. They have been shortlisted alongside two Helix Trading products, which will prove very tough competition.
This is the first time Direct-ED has been shortlisted at these prestigious awards and comes fresh of the back of being shortlisted for the EducationInvestor awards at the end of last year which saw them narrowly miss out on School Procurement Service to the Schools’ Buying Club.
Marketing Director Joe Mugan said, ‘it is really is an honour to be shortlisted for these awards. They are arguably the most important nationwide education awards and come right in the middle of the largest education show in the UK. We are up against a great company and two great products in our category so it is fantastic just to be there. To win would be excellent.’
The last 12 months have been really positive for Direct-ED with annual increase in sales and turnover as well as the launch of a brand new product in Creative Curriculum Comics which will be showcased at the show in March. Joe said, ‘we have worked very hard over the last few years to go against the grain in printing and keep a strong growth as a company. This shortlisting is testament to the hard work of all the employees and we hope we can bring home the award to show for it.’
The team will be looking to attend the awards ceremony on the 17th March as well as exhibiting at Stand M60 for all three days of The Education Show at the NEC (16th-18th March). It would be great to see customers and potential customers there!
